The last week in August we took off to Fort Steele, near Cranbrook in British Columbia for a break from the house and garden. We visited the Heritage Pioneer Town of Fort Steele where we saw our very own opera house (we used to live in Coventry)
The weather was beautiful but for some reason the pictures didnt turn out the greatest.

An old kitchen, if I had lived in this era my kitchen would be like this with Red gingham everywhere and mason jars full of fresh flowers.

And a quilt or two of course for my quilting bee!

And a jar of pickles, I don't think I would like to open this jar though!
A friendly horse who looked like a dog when he had an itch!
On the way home we visited the Ice Cream shop in Bellevue, Crowsnest Pass, Lots to choose from!
