Making Memories

My family arrived two week's ago now, how time flies! we met them at the airport on a sunny Tuesday afternoon, after I had hugged my daughter I looked down and my Grandaughter Emily was looking at me, when we visited 2 years ago she wouldn't really talk to us, but this time, she came over and gave me the biggest love!

This past weekend we have been camping in a little town called Nanton in Southern Alberta.
We had lovely weather, extremely hot though, a little cooler would have been nice but we coped with plenty of Ice Cream, they have the most yummy ice creams there next to the Candy Store....

On Saturday Night the fireworks were set off at 10 pm, the show was great and they were set to
Louis Armstrong's 'What a wonderful world'  I think this might be my favourite song!

Later this week we head off to British Columbia for the airshow at Abbotsford, then onto The Capilano Bridge in Vancouver then along Hwy 3 back to a little town called Kimberly where we will meet up with Mum and Dad for Emily's birthday.  My dad is much better now and is able to drive again, he is having to take it easy though as he tires easily , its great they are able to still come camping with us.
See you soon xxx
