A low pressure system moving in from Idaho into Montana and Southern Alberta has the potential to produce heavy snowfall in Southern Alberta today and tonight. At this time 10 to 20 cm is expected in the Kananaskis region and near 10 cm in the Calgary, Sundre, and Claresholm regions by Tuesday morning. For areas east of Calgary towards the Saskatchewan/Alberta border 5 to 10 cm is expected. Precipitation will begin as rain or freezing rain depending on temperature before turning to snow this morning. To report severe weather, including snowfall amounts, to Environment Canada call 1-800-239-0484 or email STORM(AT)EC. gc. Ca.
This is the view from my office window looking west towards the Rocky Mountains in the distance, sometimes there is a lovely view (in the distance) not today though... The snow just started about 10 minutes ago, why didnt it start around 4am, might of been a snow day....

ReplyDeleteOh no,more snow.its very warm here,practically tropical.We are having these very warm sunny days.the clocks just went forward,and it feels really summerish already.I hope we don't pay for it later in the year.

And here spring is in full bloom! It's 75 beautiful degrees, the azaleas are loaded with blooms and I had to pull weeds out of the garden today! blessings, marlene
