We are now down to minus 31 degrees, with the wind chill that takes it down to minus 40 degrees, this is minus 24 degrees F. Which means No doggy walks, do not go out unless necessary (what a shame I drive to work to sit in a heated office) it makes you grateful that you have a nice warm home, I feel for those that are homeless, can you imagine? they open emergency shelters for the people to take refuge in thank goodness, stay warm everyone if you are in my neck of the woods....
This is what we woke to on Sunday morning... the weather here in southern Alberta foothills has been remarkably balmy for this time of year, since before Christmas we have had temperature about 15 degrees above normal, not any more! we are at -26C at the moment and its staying around for a few days with more snow to come. I don't think I'll be going much further than work and the fire...

Oh that looks beautiful! We're having a heatwave here, it's horrible, I'd much rather be cold at the moment!
